Enjoy the plug-in convenience of a 240V outlet for fast, Level 2 charging at home. 

TROVZ Charge @Home outlet installation services are performed by licensed master electricians who know electric vehicles. Our experts asses your home electrical network and vehicle's charging requirements to provide a safe and cost-effective option. Ideal for use with your vehicle's mobile charger and third party charger.

How it works:

Take our brief pre-installation online survey. It will help give us the info needed to provide an estimate based on your home's electrical network and desired location. (Requires photos to be taken)

Based on the survey information we receive, we'll review your requirements and send you an estimate for the full installation (including labour, materials and safety certification)

Once you have reviewed the estimate, you can book and pay for your installation with 24Hr cancellation privilege.

What You Get:

On the day of your installation, a certified master electrician will visit your home and install a independent 240 volt electrical circuit and wall mounted outlet at the desired charging location. Following the installation, a ESA representative will perform a safety inspection and issue you a certificate for the work performed. All electrical components, labour and safety inspection included.

NEMA Outlet

All 240 volt installed circuits include a NEMA outlet. Depending on your vehicle's charging adapter, we will use a NEMA 14-50 or NEMA 6-50 wall socket.

Installation Requirements:

Safety Inspection performed by the Electrical Safety Authority in accordance with the City of Toronto electrical code.

48 Amp circuits dependent on vehicle's requirement and home's electrical panel capacity and number of existing high voltage appliances in home.

  • You live in Greater Toronto Area (See service area map)

  • You've completed the online pre-installation survey (take survey now).

  • You own a house or townhouse condominium with an independent electrical panel and metered connection.

  • The property owner or landlord (18 years or older) is present at time of installation and inspection (4-8 hours).

  • Access to home's electrical panel, basement, garage and other areas pertinent to the intended outlet's location.

  • Your home has a 100Amp or greater electrical panel with available slots for a new circuit breaker.
